Hi, I'm Kikipd

I'm a writer, illustrator, and lifelong lover of poems, stories, rhythm, and rhyme.

Ever since I was young, I've loved the magic of words — especially the kind that make children laugh, imagine, wonder, and want to keep turning the page. Inspired by the playful spirit of Shel Silverstein and the whimsical imagination of Dr. Seuss, I create stories that sit somewhere in between: cozy, clever, heartfelt, and fun.

The world around me inspires nearly every poem I write — funny moments, childhood memories, everyday adventures, little lessons, silly habits, growing pains, and the imagination children carry so naturally. I love taking ordinary moments and turning them into playful stories with rhythm, warmth, and personality.

My goal is simple: to create books that make reading feel fun.

Whether it's a child reading independently, a parent reading aloud at bedtime, or a classroom sharing stories together, I want each book to feel welcoming, lighthearted, and easy to enjoy. Some stories even include QR codes that link to read-aloud audio versions, so children can listen along, follow the rhythm, and experience the stories in another way.

Through Good Tidings and future books, I hope to create a world children can return to again and again — one filled with humor, comfort, imagination, and heart.
