Meet the Little White Bird

From the Author · June 15, 2026

Every brand has a heartbeat. For Good Tidings, that heartbeat has wings.

When I set out to create Good Tidings, I kept coming back to one image: a small white bird perched quietly on a window ledge, watching the world with curious, gentle eyes. Not flashy. Not loud. Just present — the kind of presence that makes a room feel a little warmer just by being there. That's exactly what I wanted Good Tidings to feel like for every child and grown-up who finds their way here.

The name Good Tidings means good news — a joyful message carried from one heart to another. And what carries a message? A bird. Throughout history, across cultures and stories, birds have been the messengers — the ones who travel across great distances to deliver something beautiful and true. That felt like the most natural fit in the world.

I chose the bird to be white with real intention. White is the colour of purity, of safety, of goodness. When a child sees the little white bird, I want them to feel exactly that — safe, welcomed, and wrapped in something good. White is also the blank page, full of wonder and possibility, waiting for a story to begin.

She is small, as the most magical things often are. She is steady. And she is always carrying something worth sharing.

So here she is — our little white bird. A messenger of good tidings, one story at a time.
